Eligibility rules for availing the benefits of Mahila Swalamban Yojana.
- The beneficiary woman should be a citizen of Gujarat state.
- Age of beneficiary woman should be between 18 years to 65 years.
- Family income of female applicant upto 1,20,000 at village level.
- While at the urban level up to 1,50,000. (If the income limit is more than that, the benefit of this scheme will not be available.)
Loan amount Under the Mahila Swavalamban Yojana
- the bank gives a loan to a woman for the business she wants to employ and the loan amount is up to ₹2,00,000. Depending on the project chosen by the woman, she will be eligible for subsidy. Standard of Subsidy in Mahila Swalamban Yojana.
The scale of subsidy is as follows.
- General : 30 percent of the total cost or Rs.60,000 whichever is less
- Category Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes : 35% of the total cost or Rs.70 thousand whichever is less
- Widow Women and Handicapped Women (More than 40% Handicapped) : 40% of the total cost or Rs.80,000 whichever is less
