Namo Lakshmi Yojana 2024 announced: In the budget of the Gujarat government announced in the year 2024, an amount of 55 thousand crores has been allocated for education in which many provisions have been made including increasing computer facilities to create smart classes. Which includes Namo Lakshmi Yojana, Namo Saraswati Yojana and Namoshree Yojana, so let’s know the detailed information about these three new schemes, who will be able to benefit in these schemes and what rules have been made for this scheme.
The information of three new schemes announced by the government is as follows
Namo Lakshmi Yojana
In the concept of Developed Gujarat 2017, the role of adolescent girls is important in the form of future motherhood and their contribution is invaluable in deciding a healthy and educated society. Namu Lakshmi Yojana has been announced to promote their nutrition, health and education. And an estimated 10 lakh eligible girl students will receive an annual assistance of ₹ 10,000 in class 9, an annual assistance of ₹ 10,000 in class 10, an annual assistance of ₹ 15,000 in class 11 and an annual assistance of ₹ 15,000 in class 12. Thus, the scheme will provide a total financial assistance of ₹ 50,000. Enrollment of girls in class 9 to 12 will increase, parents will make their daughters complete up to class 12 so this scheme will play an important role in increasing the level of education among women and celebrating their future.
Namo Saraswati Yojana
Namo Saraswati Yojana has been announced by the government to promote education in science stream courses 21st century is the century of science and technology in which IT and allied technologies are to play an important role in every sphere of life Education in science stream is very important for higher level new employment opportunities Therefore, the Namo Saraswati Yojana has been announced in the budget by the government to promote education in science stream courses Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 10,000 per annum in class 11 science stream and ₹ 15,000 per annum in class 12 science stream to provide financial assistance of 25 thousand rupees to the eligible middle class students of poor and weaker sections studying in science stream of higher secondary schools. Namo is Saraswati Yojana. With the implementation of this scheme, it is expected that the poor and middle class students will be able to meet the cost of education to a large extent and the admission of these students in the science stream will increase in which the number of students is expected to increase from two lakh students to five lakh students in the next five years.
Namo shree Yojana
Through this scheme Namoshree Yojana has been announced to improve the nutrition of pregnant and caste mothers in which the Namoshree Yojana is to provide financial assistance of Rs. Along with nutrition, this scheme will provide health protection to mothers and their new-born babies. It is decided by the government to make a significant change in which the fat content of milk provided in schools will be increased from 1.5% to 4.5% under the Dudh Sanjeev scheme and every child and woman will be given milk under this scheme for five days a week. It has also been announced to increase the current ratio of 60% in jaggery.
