Cycle Sahay Yojana 2024: Various schemes have been launched by the Gujarat Shramyogi Kalyan Board to help the economically weaker sections. One such scheme run by the Govt is the Cycle Assistance Scheme. This cycle assistance scheme has been announced by the Gujarat government for the working people of the state. Under this scheme, any laborer who wants to take advantage of cycle assistance scheme has to apply online for this.

main purpose
A bicycle subsidy scheme has been launched to enable the working people to commute easily from their place of work to home and from home to their place of work. Under this scheme, the state government provides Rs 1500 assistance to working people to buy a bicycle. The direction of making the state workers self-reliant has been undertaken by the state government.
Required supporting evidence.
- Identity card of the employee issued by the employing company.
- Bicycle purchase bill.
- Xerox of beneficiary’s Aadhaar card.
- Xerox of Beneficiary’s Bank Passbook.
- Last one year Labor Welfare Fund Receipt paid by the company at its office.
Eligibility Rules
- The employee should have been employed for the last one year and his Labor Welfare Fund should have been regularly deposited in the office.
- There should be a clear bill of purchase of the bicycle.
- The application has to be sent to the concerned office within six months after purchasing the cycle.
- Rs 1500 assistance will be provided on the newly purchased cycle only.
- This assistance will be admissible only once during the employment period.
- The final decision regarding assistance will rest with the Welfare Commissioner Shri, Justice Sector – Ahmedabad only.
