Vidhva Sahay Yojana: Widow Sahay Pension Yojana has been launched by Gujarat Government, the main objective of this scheme is to provide monthly pension to the widow women and lead their lives. This scheme has the reputation of providing financial assistance to women through Gujarat Social Security Department. The Women and Child Development Department of Gujarat has implemented various schemes for the welfare and safety of women and children. As a part of these efforts this department has started Gujarat Widow Assistance Scheme under Social Security Scheme. Eligibility Rules
- Applicant should be permanent resident of Gujarat.
- Applicant widow should be between 18 to 40 years of age.
- Only widows and renunciation letter women are eligible for assistance under this scheme.
Evidence required
- for widow relief. Example of widowed woman earning less than 1,50,000.
- Ration card of the applicant.
- Aadhaar Card and Election Card of the applicant.
- Instance of death of petitioner’s husband.
- Applicant’s Light Bill or Verabill.
- Certificate from Talati Minister that he has not remarried.
- Applicant’s age certificate (including school leaving certificate birth certificate or civil creation certificate).
- A recent passport size photograph of the applicant.
- Recent passport size photographs and Aadhaar card of two witnesses.
Note: Certificate of not remarried to be obtained from Mr. Talati has to be produced in the month of July every year

- Get proof of age from your nearest government hospital doctor (if no other age certificate) Attach all the documents mentioned above in this application form.
- Submit the application at the office of Mamlatdar Shri / Taluka Development Officer Shri of your concerned area.
